I went out for the first time in a long time.
I hadn't been out for a long time since I went to the Namba Takashimaya Department Store to see the Bijin-ga Expo, but at that time I didn't meet anyone and didn't have a chance to exchange a few words with anyone. The only time I spoke to anyone was at a kushikatsu stand in the Umeda basement, where I asked the lady to take my order.
Since then, I have never visited anyone, and no one has visited me.
When I leave the house, no one sees me, and after a day of silence, I come home again.
It's hard to say that I exist in the world, so I'm like a ghost all the time.
It has been the first time since the last time I met people and exchanged words with them since the last time I photographed Mi-san.
I haven't even met my only daughter.
The location of this day's shoot was a place I haven't visited for a while now.
When I was working, I used to go there many times on business and for a while after the Hanshin-Awaji earthquake, I was attracted to it as a place where the glamour of the commercial area remained compared to Sannomiya and Motomachi.
My father and mother.
My wife and daughter.
Many of the restaurants where we had parties are still there today.
When I walk, here and there I see illusions of a time that has passed.
I find this more painful than nostalgia, and I no longer visit them.
I wonder if the day's shooting allowed my pseudo-memories to overwrite them as new memories.

I thought I heard a distant singing voice.
久しぶりの外出。
難波高島屋へ美人画博覧会を見に行って以来となるが、その時は、誰にも会わず、言葉を交わす機会はなかった。梅田地下の串カツ屋で、お姐さんに注文をきいてもらったぐらいだ。
それからずっと誰かを訪ねることはなく、訪ねてくる人もない。
家から出ても、誰に見られることはないし、一日無言のまま、また帰ってくる。
世の中に存在しているとは言い難いから、私はずっとゴーストのようなものだ。
人と会い、言葉を交わしたのは、前回のみさんの撮影時以来のことになる。
一人娘にも会っていない。
この日の撮影場所は、暫く前から足が向かなくなったところ。
在職時は、出張先として、何度も通ったところだし、阪神淡路の震災の後暫くは、三宮や元町に比べ、商業地の華やかさが残る場所として惹かれた。
父や母。
妻や娘。
会食した店は、今も残っている所が多い。
歩けば、あちらこちらに、過ぎてしまった時間の幻を見る。
それが、懐かしさよりも辛いと思うようになって、足が向かなくなった。
この日の撮影で、擬似記憶を新しい記憶として、上書きすることが出来たのだろうか。
