Before the day this shooting was due to take place, I received a call saying that it was an emergency.
While cooking, she gouged the tip of her left index finger with a knife and received five stitches. I was told that she might have to wear a glove for the shoot.
As the shoot was scheduled to take place in Kyudo clothing, I informed her that the bandage looked like taping and that there was no particular obstacle to it.
She also replied that she would bring the bandages as they could be used as accessories.
On the day of the shoot, I asked her about the injury, showing me the fingertip covered by the bandage.
I had imagined a larger area, but it was only the tip of the fingertip. The wound required five stitches, so it was an accident that could have resulted in the loss of the tip.
I could only say that April and May had not been a good month for her.
Perhaps because of this relief, I remembered a music video. A beautiful girl with bandages on her fingertips appears. She is one of the maids of honour at the House of Wonders, but she fakes a broken fingertip as an excuse to skip work. Checking the video, the index and middle fingers of her right hand were bandaged. There was a difference between the left and right sides, but to mimic this, I asked her to wrap the bandages thickly. She said that it looked like protective gear for the fingertips. It was the first time I had ever learnt the character for ‘弽:kake’.
In the middle of the music video, the girl removes the bandage while dancing, and the crazy way she danced was terribly impressive. From the atmosphere of the anteroom where the maids of honour were located, a photo was also taken with what looked like a Nambu iron kettle from the kitchen.
The rest is up to Mi-san.

この撮影予定日前に、緊急事態ですという連絡が来た。
調理中に左人差し指の先を包丁でえぐってしまい、５針縫っている。手袋を嵌めての撮影になるかもしれないとのこと。
弓道着での撮影予定だったため、絆創膏をテーピングと見做すこともできる、特に支障はない旨、伝えた。
包帯がアクセサリーにもなりそうなので持参するとの返信もあった。
当日、絆創膏に覆われた指先を見せてもらいながら、怪我の顛末をお聴きした。
もっと大きな部分を想像していたのだが、指先の先端部のみ。そこを５針も縫う傷だから、悪くすれば、先端部を失くしてしまいかねないアクシデントだった。
４月、５月は、どうもツイテいませんねと言うしかなかった。
そこから一安心した所為か、あるミュージックビデオを思い出した。指先に包帯を巻いた美しい少女が出てくる。彼女は不可思議な館の侍女の一人なのだが、仕事をさぼる口実として指先を骨折していると偽っている。ビデオを確認してみると、右手の人差し指と中指に包帯を巻いている。左右の違いはあったが、それを真似て、包帯を分厚く巻いてもらった。指先を守る防具のようですねとのこと。「
ミュージックビデオの途中で、少女は踊りながら包帯を外すのだが、気のふれたような踊り方がひどく印象的だった。侍女のいた控室のような雰囲気から、キッチンにあった南部鉄瓶のようなものを持ってもらっている。
あとは、みさんの思うがまま。
私は、それを追いかけての撮影、楽しい時間を過ごした。
